Learning many languages always comes with its advantages. Being exposed to many cultures is one of them.

From Beirut to Berlin, today I will shed the light on fabulous new talent from Germany Lila Lachs. After freshly graduating Lila moves her headquarters to Malaysia bringing the world a unique blend and sweet fusion between euro-German couture and whimsical Malaysian culture.

I like how she keeps Malaysian authenticity in her designs and her emphasis on keeping traditional patterns included with modern European cuts, fabrics and mood. In her latest collection I often sense a poetic and romantic mood. The ladies feel like forest fairies whimsically swinging around Malaysia’s beautiful landscape.

I like how she makes the look so effortless, this is something I appreciate in her designs. Women shouldn’t work hard to look beautiful; Lachs brings out the naturally  wild, untouched, virgin beauty and work her designs around it. Any modern woman likes to fell comfortably good without having to put up with the exclusiveness of couture. The hairstyles she fits for her dresses is very natural and makes the ladies look like forest fairies. I also like her attention to details to the patterns and how the fabric blends with the designs.

That would be all on my fusion designs for today, keep in tuned I shall share with you in moments my surprise shoot 🙂
